Motors and Generators Factory lighting project
ABB values innovation, sustainability, productivity, and employee well-being in its manufacturing. As part of this commitment, the lighting at the Jüri Motor and Generator Factory was completely upgraded to modern LED solutions, ensuring better work illumination and lower energy consumption.
Site C:
- 325 old metal halide lamps (450W and 250W) removed;
- 120 LED luminaires (234W) and 7 LED luminaires (117W) installed;
- Mounting height: 10 m;
- Average illuminance increase: up to 750 lx;
- Annual electricity savings: 458,726 kWh;
- CO₂ emissions reduction: 100,920 kg/year
Site B:
- 220 old metal halide lamps (450W and 250W) replaced;
- 110 LED luminaires (177W) installed;
- Mounting height: 10 m;
- Average illuminance increase: up to 620 lx;
- Annual electricity savings: 281,520 kWh;;
- CO₂ emissions reduction: 61,934 kg/year.
Result: significantly improved work lighting, lower energy consumption, and reduced environmental impact.
